Kris-Kros

Kris Kros bar has seen many uses and has had many incarnations over its life time, it has been a bar, an ice cream parlour, a petrol station and garage, and apparently even provided stabling for horses in its early years. Indeed when it was a garage it was owned by John Lawrence who in the 1950's and early 60's drove with the Ecurie Ecosse Race Team. John is fondly remembered by many in Cullen for his success in the Le Man endurance race of 1957 when, driving a D-Type Jaguar, he secured a second place finish behind his Ecurie Ecosse team make Ron Flockhard.

Kris Kros (formerly the Stable Bar) opened for business in may 2006 and has steadily grown to become the premier venue for live music and entertainment in the Cullen area, with many excellent artists performing every month throughout the year. It is not just the professionals that provide the entertainment, with monthly karaoke nights we have an enthusiastic group of talented ( and not so talented) regulars who sing their hearts out for the enjoyment of their fellow customers. Quizzes, race nights and fancy dress nights are amongst the events held regularly within the bar, providing a good selection of enjoyable activities.

The Bar also has a large screen Television and access to Sky Sports providing up to the minute sporting events such as championship football, golf and motor sport. The bar also boasts a state of the art gaming machine, juke box, pool table and dart board for those customers wishing to take part in and show of their own sporting skills.

Kris Kros strives to cater for all age groups and pride ourselves on providing a family atmosphere for all to enjoy. We have a wide choice of hot and cold snacks and bar meals are available throughout the day at a reasonable price.

Kris Kros can also be booked for private parties. Prior notice is required.
