About Us

One of the finest and most popular hotels on the Moray Firth Coast, sitting perfectly in a peaceful and tranquil surrounding, in the very centre of this historical village.  Conveniently situated mid way between Aberdeen and Inverness, on the beautiful Moray Firth Coast line.

This popular spot is well known for having a truly relaxing atmosphere and access to some amazing walks around a stunning coastline, which will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. The hotel has a vehicle perfect for collecting up to six passengers from either local airports or railway stations.

The Seafield Arms Hotel stands proudly in the heart of Cullen. Built by the Earl of Seafield in 1822 and restored in 1972 by the present Earl, this exquisite hotel has the ambience and tranquillity of an 18th century coaching inn. On our doorstep is the famous Seafield Estate, home of the Ogilvie-Grants. The records state that Martha, mother of King Robert the Bruce had residence here.

The warmth, the welcome, the log fire (with its historic Carved Surround and a secret all its own) in the Hotel Lounge Bar, and the ambience of the hotel are all perfectly complimented by the delightful surroundings.

If you would like to find out more about the Moray area and what it offers the visitor why not take a look at the Visit Scotland Moray Visitors Guide. Click here or if you would like to see our entry in the Guide please click here. We are very proud to be an active part of the Moray tourism Development group who are working to promote Moray as the tourist destination with so much to offer.

The Cullen Voluntary Tourist Initiative also works closely with the Hotel to promote the Moray coast and as such operates a Tourist information service from the Town Hall, next to the Hotel. The Hotel would be glad to assist you in getting the very best from your visit to Moray and its surrounding areas. The Following site will also be of assistance in getting the best out of the area.
